Boost Grants
One-time, $10,000 grants to support free or low-cost veterinary care for family pets.
Duffield Boost Grants are our way of introducing our Big Bet for Pets initiative to your nonprofit veterinary clinic or program. We're here to champion and amplify your vital work, and we're excited to help support you! Use a Boost Grant for any purpose or project directly related to providing free or low-cost care for family pets.
We will award 250 Boost Grants through a competitive, rolling application process that is open until December 16 or until the $2.5 million pool of funds run out. Because we will evaluate proposals and make grant decisions as we receive applications, we encourage you to apply early.
We will evaluate proposals based on:

Your organization's experience and future plans for providing
affordable veterinary care for family pets.

How clearly your proposal describes how you will use the funds,
and how that will help you provide affordable or free veterinary
care for family pets.
Examples of how you might use these funds:

Veterinarian or technician salaries
-
Equipment or technology purchases, upgrades, or repairs

"Angel Fund" spending to offer subsidies or no-cost care
-
Adding a free pop-up clinic in your community
-
Translating your clinic’s marketing materials and signage into other languages

Or any project or purpose that helps you provide low-cost and/or free veterinary care to family pets

How to Apply
Simply click the button below to be transferred to our grants portal, where you will create a profile and manage your grant application(s).
Eligibility Criteria
Your organization is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a public or government entity (county, municipality), or using a fiscal sponsor that is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
Your organization provides veterinary care to family pets. (These are “owned” pets, not shelter pets.)
Your organization has been providing low-cost and/or free veterinary services to family pets for at least one year.
Your organization intends to continue to provide low-cost and/or free veterinary services to family pets during the next 12 months.
