Boost Grants
Designed to support nonprofit veterinary care providers with one-time grants of $10,000 to support their work to deliver free or low-cost care in their communities.
DCDF will award 250 Duffield Boost Grants until the $2.5 million pool runs out. Grant recipients will have discretion on how the funds are used, provided they support the direct delivery of free or low-cost veterinary care.
Examples of qualifying expenses:

Veterinarian or technician salaries

Equipment or technology purchases, upgrades, or repairs

"Angel Fund" spending to offer subsidies or no-cost car

Technician or veterinary training

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a Duffield Boost Grant, please be sure you meet all of the following criteria:

Your organization is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a public or government entity (county, municipality), or using a fiscal sponsor that is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

Your organization provides veterinary care to owned pets (not just to shelter pets or pets in rescue organizations).

Your organization has been providing low-cost/free veterinary services for at least one year.

Your organization has provided veterinary care to at least 600 pets during the last 12 months.

Your organization intends to provide free and low-cost veterinary services to pets during the next 12 months.
